A cornerstone of this initiative is the creation of Queens Village, a Black American village that pays homage to the Indigenous Ancestors, fondly referred to as "obroni" – those "from the other side." Queens Village is not just a community but a tribute to the enduring connection between the African Diaspora and their ancestral homeland, weaving together shared histories and futures.
